Katalysator is owned by the Møller family. The family is also owners of the Møller Group – the leading Norwegian importer of cars and one of the largest, privately held companies in Norway. In addition to car imports, the Møller Group also operates a large number of car dealerships and a sizeable real estate portfolio. The Møller Group employs more than 3.000 people and has revenues of about € 1,3 billion and earning at about € 70 million.

Katalysator’s investment strategy is to focus on private, Scandinavian equity investments within the healthcare-, sports/leisure-, retail- and media sectors. The investment portfolio ranges from mature to venture companies. Katalysator also holds some real estate investments.  

As an owner, Katalysator is actively involved in its portfolio businesses, through board representation or otherwise.

Katalysator’s assets under management are approximately € 70 mill.
